Peninsula Grammar has established the Class of ’99 Memorial Scholarships for the academic year 2022-2023 to financially support the study of students who would not otherwise have the opportunity to attend Peninsula Grammar. This scholarship is given in memory of Daniel Groves, Blair Hibbert, and Timothy Noble, who died in a horrific vehicle accident on November 21, 1998 in Frankston. The award is made possible thanks to the generous contributions of parents from the graduating Class of 1999. It will be given to students based on their financial need for educational expenses.
This scholarship is given each year to a student who would not otherwise be able to attend Peninsula Grammar. When awarding this scholarship, the family’s financial situation will be taken into account. The scholarship is for general academic excellence. The recipient does not have to be a stellar scholar, but must demonstrate a strong commitment to his or her studies. He or she will also be allowed to highlight accomplishments in areas other than the academic program, such as music, sport, acting, or debating. The scholarship is given to a student entering Year 10 or 11 and offers full tuition remission for Years 10, 11, and 12, depending on the year.
