The Philippine Space Agency (PhilSA) is the national space agency of the Philippines. The unified space agency is defined by the Philippine Space Act (Republic Act No. 11363) which was signed into law on August 8, 2019, by President Rodrigo Duterte, intended to manage and operate the decentralized space program of the Philippine government, which was handled by various agencies of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST).

The Philippine Space Agency (PhilSA) is the central government agency addressing all national issues and activities related to space S&T applications. Created under Republic Act No. 11363 or the Philippine Space Act, the PhilSA is an attached agency of the Office of the President for purposes of policy and program coordination, and to ensure alignment in national policies and priorities.

  • Experience: 1 year of relevant experience
  • Training: 4 hours of relevant training

One (1) Science Research Specialist I (Salary Grade 13)

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job
  • Experience: N/A
  • Training: N/A

One (1) Science Research Specialist II (Salary Grade 16)

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job
  • Experience: 1 year of relevant experience
  • Training: 4 hours of relevant training

One (1) Senior Science Research Specialist (Salary Grade 19)

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job
  • Experience: 2 years of relevant experience
  • Training: 8 hours of relevant training

One (1) Chief Science Research Specialist (Salary Grade 24)

  • Education: Master’s Degree or Certificate in Leadership and Management from the CSC
  • Experience: 4 years of supervisory/management experience
  • Training: 40 hours or supervisory/management or learning and development training
