Recruitment Process

Here are the steps to apply:

1. Fill Out the Application Form.
2. Initial Evaluation.
3. Initial Interview/Screening.
4. Pre-Orientation (if approved).
5. Height and Weight Measurement (BMI).
6. Physical Agility Test (PAT).
7. Psychological/Psychiatric Examination (PPE).
8. Character & Background Investigation (CBI).
9. Physical, Medical, and Dental Examinations (PMDE).
10. Drug Test.
11. Final Committee Deliberation (FCD).
12. Oath-Taking.

Training:

After oath-taking, recruits will complete a six-month Public Safety Basic Recruit Course at the Regional Training School, followed by six months of Field Training Program or On-the-Job Training (OJT) at local police stations in their assigned area.

General Qualifications

To qualify for PNP Patrolman/Patrolwoman, you need:

1. Be a Filipino citizen.
2. Good moral character.
3. Be physically and mentally fit.
4. Hold a bachelor’s degree.
5. Have one of these eligibilities:
   • NAPOLCOM PNP Entrance Exam
   • Civil Service Exam (Professional)
   • Bar or Board Passer
   • Licensed Criminologist
   • College Honor Graduate
6. No dishonorable discharge or convictions.
7. Height:
   • Male: 5’2″ (157 cm)
   • Female: 5’0″ (152.4 cm)
8. Weight must fit the standard for your height.
9. Age: 21 to 30 years old.

Salary and Allowances

The starting salary for a PNP Patrolman or Patrolwoman is Php 29,668.00 per month.

Additional monthly allowances include:

• Quarter Allowance: Php 400.00
• Subsistence Allowance: Php 4,650.00
• Clothing Allowance: Php 200.00
• Hazard Pay: Php 540.00
• PERA: Php 2,000.00
